About The Adventure Inn Yellowstone
Craig and Stephanie Borash found their way to West Yellowstone in the fall of 1993, married a year later, and never left. Three decades on, this small town on the western boundary of Yellowstone National Park is still home. It's where they raised their two sons, Andrew and Paul, and where they built The Adventure Inn.
Why We Built an Inn Instead of a Hotel
For years, friends and family came to visit and the Borashs did what locals do: handed over the good gear, pointed people toward the right trailhead, and made sure everyone had somewhere warm to land at the end of the day. The Adventure Inn grew directly out of that habit. It's a small, boutique-style inn built by people who actually use the park, not a chain property with a Yellowstone sign out front.
The Adventure Inn sits at 103 South Electric Street, in the heart of West Yellowstone and only a couple of blocks from the park's West Entrance. Restaurants, bars, and the rest of town are an easy walk away, so you can leave the car parked and still get where you're going.
That location is the whole point. When the West Entrance is a few minutes from your door, you aren't burning the best part of the morning driving to it.
Beds Worth Coming Back To
After a long day outside, what actually matters is a hot shower and a bed that does its job. We took that seriously. Every room has top-of-the-line bedding and quality mattresses, chosen specifically so you wake up ready to do it all again.
You'll also find the small things we always wished hotels would think of, already waiting in the room: a corkscrew, wine glasses, coffee, and tea.
Nothing Else in Town Has Our Basecamp Garage
This is the piece we're proudest of. Every stay includes access to our basecamp garage: pull in, close the door behind you, take your gear off inside, and walk straight into your room.
If you've ever wrestled wet ski boots or a snowmobile suit across a frozen parking lot, you already know why this matters. There's room for skis, mountain bikes, snow machines, and whatever else your trip requires. No other hotel, motel, or nightly rental in West Yellowstone offers it.
A Small Inn, Run by a Family
We keep things simple and personal. Coded locks on every door mean you can check in whenever you arrive, with no front-desk line and no waiting on a key, and our team is a phone call away whenever you need something.
Because we're a small boutique inn, we don't offer daily housekeeping. Instead we stock your room with plenty of towels and amenities up front, and we're happy to replenish anytime you run out.
For families and larger groups, several of our suites interconnect. The Hilgard Queen Suite pairs with The Absaroka King Suite, and The Glacier Queen Suite pairs with The Jack Creek King Suite. If you need a full kitchen, The Continental Divide King Suite is our only two-bedroom. You can also book the entire inn for a group of up to 22.
